In an ideal world, every piece of data would come into a business with perfect precision and consistency: the same format, type, length, and purpose. It would also be easy to process, leverage, and harness for business advantage.
But that’s not the world companies operate in – as much as all business owners and executives wish otherwise. Instead, data comes in myriad forms, the virtual version of a constant torrential downpour.
